The maintenance app for houses that offers the opportunity to get in touch with your neighbors and to purchase joint maintenance. There are two versions of app for IOS and for Android devices.

The Challenge

To create a mobile app for homeowners to maintain their homes and to share service costs. The app must be for Android and IOS platforms.

The Process

At first, I examined user-stories and made the initial wireframes. Next step, we test out our app UX on the dynamic prototype created in Invision. After we approved all wireframes, I've started to do UI design.

Later we tested UX with a real interface and fixing all founded issues. As soon as we approved all screens I polished them and they went to Zeplin.

After I finished with the iOS, I started adapting the interface to Android devices.

For typography, I used font Open Sans family, I like it for its legibility especially on mobile screens. The green color is from company logo, also I used shades of green for background and other elements аnd red for an accent.

The Solution

Finally, the app has the modern and universal design. It is easy to use on both IOS and Android platforms. Of course, it is only 1.0 version and there is much to strive for but this is a good start. 🙂
